It is our triumphant return to form, and we call it Letters VS Numbers episode 027 : "Webcomics for the Blind". There was lots to talk about, but it mostly ended up being about webcomics evidently. But it is good talk, I assure you! We also bring up all the latest game news and more in a fashionably late style as always.

It took us some coordinating but we are back with episode 26 of LVN! To make up for it we throw down even more awesome songs than usual this week, and we also have a ton of awesome letters and a few tweets of course! This is Letters VS Numbers episode 026: "You Know What Else is an Hour Long?". We discuss lots of recent game releases such as Pokemon, Final Fantasy XIII, and Cave Story. We also tackle some "nerdcore drama" and have music from lots of great new releases. Listen in to this one, for it is a doozy!

Well, its three for three. Like my sexy cohorts before me, I am late with my blog post. I feel no remorse about the matter and my stance on late journals is "Shut up".
You know what else can be late? Periods. And this is often good news because it means a baby is on the way! Perhaps a little Geno Boostington, esq, Chibier Ma, or c-Type is looming on the horizon. Who can even say?
We can.
We say no.
I aint played it, but I watched someone on Heavy Rain for five minutes. They wandered round a room, then became someone else, then nursed a baby for ages. Then I made a joke about ShenMue and everyone laughed.
As far as Schizophrenic-WanderingAround-Babysitting-Shenmue clones go, Heavy Rain is the finest one I have watched for five minutes, and if I wasnt painfully poor I would buy it.
THE END.
Hello lovies!
Decided to do what the cool kids (Geno and B) doing nowadays.
Late blogging ftw, "amirite"??
Actually I'm going to blame computer fail problems. Decided to play Mass Effect last week.
I thought it was a swell idea. Guess my computer disagreed.
Anywho, now I'm back with some updates. Finally played the Heavy Rain demo...which means nothing now that the game is out and its getting superb reviews. Yet I myself won't know the greatness of this game yet. Big friggen sadface. But happier news, only a week till FFXIII comes out! I know ya'll been hearing/reading my craziness over this release but it's getting so close. I will be attending a midnight release of it. I'd like to think that I would possibly go pick it up in FF cosplay but knowing me and my time highly unlikely.
PS3 had a hiccup the other day. Those with old PS3s had to deal with the killer leap year clock that screws everything up (will go into more detail on a podcast...maybe). Thankfully I decided not to log on. Apparently it's practically fixed. Luck, I haz it.
Other than that not a whole lot really. Oh I was introduced to this band called Kirby Krackle. They're pretty fun. They're a rock VGM band that does songs using nerdy references to apply to real life.
Whelp, thats all for now. Internet is back. I feel at home once again.

Haha whoops! Looks like B and I are in the same boat this week, unfortunately my boat has set sail much later...Okay that analogy is ridiculous! Anyway, Ma did not post yesterday either because her laptop is unfortunately kaput, which also means there will be no LVN this week unfortunately. I hope you can all deal with the tragic loss coupled with our ineptitude for deadlines.
Hopefully once Wednesday rolls around B-Type can get things back into gear. Who'd of thunk it though? B whipping us into shape? It's obvious the end times are near. My next blog post will probably be just a list of people I have wronged with apologies to them if that is the case.
Until then though, I regret nothing!

I have decided that late is how I do. Indeed, I pre-emptively predict that the next podcast will be a little late, as we three wont be united in a situation conducive to casting pods until Sunday maybe.
WHATEVER.
So, I started playing Pokemon Platinum finally. I am also, currently, playing Pearl, two versions of Diamond, and Leaf Green. Is this baller status? Answers on a postcard.
The reason I am pokemoning at 254% capacity is because, until I can get a recording set up, um, set up, my thus-far awesome sounding EP is on hold. Sorry about that, but if you go to www.facebook.com/btypemusic I will keep you satisfied with tidbits until the launch.
Best blog ever.
Note: Sorry, the original file I uploaded was the wrong one! So please re-download if you got the original episode 24. I apologize for rushing and getting things a bit mixed up! Although you should apologize to me, for putting me under such pressure! I mean, thank you for listening!
Welcome to another somewhat late episode, but we refuse to not bring you new episodes! This time we have Letters VS Numbers episode 024: "UGH!". This episode takes a look at things like Avatar, cancer, theft, and NOT the Heavy Rain demo. So suck on that! Or actually just listening in is more than fine.

Hello lovies!
Tis a lovely evening. Though I am running a bit late on this blog, at least it is being done now.
Today LVN podcasted episode 24, better keep an eye out for that one. Played various music dealing with Metroid, YTCracker, MPFM, and (of course chosen by moi!) Final Fantasy.
I apologized on the show but I will apologize again. I have not played the Heavy Rain demo quite yet. I know I know...shame on me. But as soon as I'm done with my bloggings, that baby will be downloaded and played! Which is the only thing I got since the game comes out tomorrow and I, sadly, have no money :(
But, alas, life goes on. 14 days till FFXIII.
14 days.
I'm excited. If you can't tell.
Also I have been linked to interesting info on Pokemon. New pokemon(what a shocker)! Check it
Anywho, just got home from the gym. Must indulge in foodzors and Heavy Rain.
Lates!<3

Last night I was able to put together a great little chiptune show here in Los Angeles, Ca starring IllGill, EvilWezil, and Wizwars (as well as impromptu surprise guests The Silph Scope). It was called Pizza and Chips 2 and was held at Rose City Pizza. The night went great, with a bunch of folks, lots of delicious pizza, and a ton of prizes raffled off, including the likes of a classic Gameboy, an entire NES system with several games, and even amazing commissioned artwork by local artist Sasha Palacio. My blog today is to give a quick recap of the great goings on last night!
First up was IllGill who went on and did a mix of older songs along with newer tracks from his project with Nameless, Flying Fortress. They also had Flying Fortress CDs at the show, so expect a song from that on an episode of LVN soon! After Illgill repped the nerdcore lifestyle with a ton of energy and showmanship, there was a bit of downtime while we waited for EvilWezil to rush from work to the show (hey, chiptune folks still got day jobs!) So while we waited, the brand new Chip rock group out of Riverside, CA, The Silph Scope, grabbed their gear and had a short impromptu set in the interim. It was even their first show! Hope to be hearing and seeing them around more in the future as well!

Once Silph Scope finished up after to or three songs, it was time for EvilWezil to take the stage. Once he started his set it was a 30 minute non stop rock out of brand new chiptunes, which like EvilWezil said at the end of his set, are currently unreleased and, "good luck finding them."The last set of the night was the first Los Angeles show for LA native and fellow Shizzie, Wizwars, despite having done a ton of shows in many other locales. He put on a great set to end the night. including his most recent song from the brand new Beep City chiptune compilation, and closing the set with my personal favorite track from his release Gameboy Rock!!, the fantastic track Right Back To You.

So all in all a very awesome night, and can't wait to hold another one in Los Angeles very soon! (Like in April! *hint hint*)

My initial reaction was to craft for you, dear readers, one of two stories. The first, an epic tale of adventure, struggle, camaraderie. A yarn as grand of scale as it was devoid of truth. The second, a slightly more sedated affair, concise, and faux.
But rather than lie, Im just gonna say that I completely forgot that today was Wednesday and I need to blog.
Ive decided, in my head, that my Wednesday (or WINnesday, if you like) journal entries will juxtapose with Anth and Ma's. Where their offerings will have substance, humor; an official but friendly tone to them, mine are just gonna be a bit daft. And wordy, so I can practice using big words for raps.
The only two tv shows I have watched this week are Peep Show, and the Daily Show. If anyone out there can swear on the behemoth of their once, present, and future happiness that they say the same thing truthfully, then we could be very good friends.
Im not going to mention anything about music because I am a renegade. I will mention I am training a Rhyperior, and it is going swimmingly.
Welcome to the possibly best episode ever! Sound wise at least! This is Letters VS Numbers episode 023: "I Hope You Like Bodily Functions (and pokemon)". We discuss such heady topics as zombie hordes, PAX East, and how often the average person needs to make use of "the facilities." We also have lots of brand new songs from the likes of Action Adventure World vs ThePlasmas, The Megas, not to mention an exclusive track from Shael Riley and The Double Ice Backfire!

Hello lovies!
It's the day after Valentine's Day, hope you all had a fantastical weekend filled with heart-shaped cards cluttered with sweet nothings and flowers galore. I spent the day mainly lounging around watching chick flicks, stuffing my face, talking to a ninja, and hung out in the Nerdcore Hip Hop Stickam chat room. Not too shabby.
Let's see, school's getting busier and busier which makes gaming and writing a little difficult. I think though my next post should be review over Kingdom Hearts: Destiny, ya? Speaking of which I really need to finish KH: 365/2 days...at least before Birth by Sleep is released. Hopefully.
Anywho! let's see, what else what else...
Oh! Downloading the Heavy Rain demo, I will most definitely have thoughts on that (most likely good ones...yeah) on it on the next LVN! I'm also curious on the music on it as well.
That is all, I pass the blogging power off to B for Wednesday.
MIKA is awesome.

Hey everyone! I am posting this on my phone while riding a train thanks to technology! It's not too easy writing this, but I couldn't be a terrible blogger and leave you with nothing at all, especially when my cohorts blog on so valiantly. There are some cool things to mention. One, head over to beepcity.com and grab their new Valentine's Day inspred compilation of chiptunes! I have been listening to it while watching scenery go by on this train and the album is phenomenal! The stand out track for me right now is the very catchy song but one of the beep city founders, Moldilox. All the tracks are great though so definitely expect to hear one or another on a future LVN.
In other news, GM4A Records has signed on some great new artists in Action Adventure World, ThePlasmas (who have a new ep together by the way) as well as LVN's very own B-Type, which I believe he mentioned in his post. We also have a hidden character or two up our sleeves as well.
Well I hope all the folks reading have a great weekend and Valentine's Day!

Hey Internet, whats up?
Well, here in the UK I have two more minutes of Wednesday before I would officially be late with this blog. Fortunately, international super-team that we are, timezones mean naught to us. Unfortunately, this stance will be revoked by me when Pokemon SoulSilver and HeartGold come out about twenty years earlier in the states than they will in dear old Blighty.
Speaking of Pokemon, I have some personal news, which of course translates to important news for everybody!
While it was an idea that has been gestating for a short while, today, (or yesterday, as my two minutes are up) I was signed to Gamemusic4all records. I would like to publicly proclaim my pride pertaining to this issue, and will finish this sentence by saying Genoboost is the best.
Speaking of jerks, Im fairly sure Ma's last post was made up of WITTING jerkittude, although that in and of itself counts as unwitting jerkittude. So no harm no foul.
Bish Bash Bosh, Im out.
Hello lovies, it's a Monday afternoon, the birds are singing, the sun is shining!
...Actually that was all a lie (except for Monday afternoon part), but it really is a good day! Working on a review you should be able to check out tomorrow on GM4A. I'm so excited for this review. I haven't done one in such a long time.
LVN is officially back everyone! So make sure to go check out Ep 22 "Trivium vs Quadrivium vs Harmonicas". It's filled with lols, harmonicas (a lot of harmoncias), great music, but mostly lols.
I don't think I can go through a post without mentioning FFXIII...it just goes against my nature. 30 days till it's out.
Anywho, nothing else new 'cept for this rockin review I am currently writing. Which I shall return to! I am out! Lates!
Vitamin Water "Revive" is tasty.
Geno and B are jerks.

In record time we now present to you our latest episode, and first episode of the new decade Letters VS Numbers episode 022: "Trivium vs Quadrivium vs Harmonicas" which was recorded on February fifth, 2010 and released February sixth.
This episode we talk about the Sonic the hedgehog 4 and Vanquished announcements, discuss I Fight Dragons and their being signed to Atlantic Records. We also talk about the upcoming nerdcore iPhone game B-Boy Beats. As well as play some bluesy riffs on the Harmonica and more! We also have new music from ThePlasmas, Elfonso, Team Teamwork, and then some. Enjoy the episode!

So since my blogging/podcasting cohorts failed to actually mention what is going on on this here site this week, and from now on. I think I will use my blog this week to explain things a bit. At least if I don't get completely off topic.
As you may have noticed over the past couple months, the podcast has been on another one of it's signature, and interminable hiatus'. We have recently released Podcast 21, but that was recorded some time ago. Starting this weekend we plan to be getting ourselves back in gear and working hard this new year to bring a dedicated and weekly podcast to all the people that have been our loyal fans over the past few years, not to mention work on garnering a much larger fanbase.
What does all this big talk mean? Well it means we will do much more work, starting with these blogs you see before you. Each of us three podcasters will be bringing you a new blog once a week to tide you over during the wait to our weekly podcast every Saturday. The blogging schedule is as follows.
Chibi Ma - Monday
B-Type - Wednesday
genoboost (I am writing this right now!) - Friday
Our podcasts will simply detail the same types of things that happen on the podcast. Nerdery of all sorts, music, plugs for our various endeavors, and whatever else comes to mind. We hope you enjoy the blogs and whatever else we come up with in the new year.
And to make sure this blog isn't a complete snoozefest of me blogging ABOUT blogging. Check this awesomeness out!
Also don't forget to follow us on twitter @LversusN and Facebook facebook.com/lettersvsnumbers for blog updates and more from us!
Hey internet, whats up?
It is my turn to take the reigns of this here blogsmobile, time to turn the ignition and blast into orbit!
Mixed-metaphors aside, I am kind of puzzled as to what to put here. Chibi-Ma, in her unwitting jerkitude already mentioned the excellent Team Teamwork mash-up albums (Orcarina of Rhyme and Vinyl Fantasy VII of course) which was pretty much the only thing that I had to talk about.
Although, now that I think about it, there is something worth mentioning. Perhaps as an after effect of Make-Your-Avatar-a-Pokemon Month on facebook, my spies have informed me of an influx of pokemon themed groups. Not just "Pikachu" or "Team Rocket", but groups expressing dismay at running into Zubat; groups questioning the hospital etiquette of Nurse Joy.
I am of the mind that this is easily the best thing about facebook and in true Pokemon spirit, I will attempt to join them all.
Breakfast today was Nutella on toast, which was delicious, and I now proclaim myself King of Blogging.
Bish Bash Bosh, Im Out.
B-Type
